Killboy.com captured a nice pic of George riding on the 129:

Some "share the road sentiment" from motorcyclists' comments, but I'm not sure if there is enough room to safely pass anyway.

A couple of questions:
1. Should they be single file to let the motorcycles pass?
2. Should they respond differently to motorcycle traffic than to cars/trucks/etc?

Seriously, single or double, cyclist are extremely easy to pass with the acceleration a motorcycle has.

Any motorcyclist complaining about cyclist should be completely embarrassed with the implication of their extremely low riding skills.

After hearing the stories about that highway and the drivers and motorcyclists going out to see how much fun they can have by going as quickly as they can...

I would NOT ride there on my bicycle. Maybe George & co. can go fast enough to keep pace with the gas-powered hooligans so they won't get blasted from behind after one of the many tight corners, though.

I rode the dragon last year, and it's actually an excellent ride. Nowhere as scary as what people might make one think. Do not hug the edge of the road though - hugging the edge makes one invisible at one of the many tight corners. Not that much traffic either, and law enforcement aggressively goes after speeders (speed limit 30 mph) for good reason.
