They are V-tubulars that say "Sun Mistral aero" (dk grey anodized finish)
and campy hubs w/ "campagnolo record" stamped in the center and a metal clip around the middle. No idea what the clip is for, it doesn't hold anything.
Campy qr's w/ the metal loop on one end.
They are new condition.
They are 6 speed, corncob cassette.
Sorry if I asked about them before but got around to cleaning out and trying to determine value.
They're tubulars, so that instantly lowers the value. I'd say probably $100-$150 at most.
Pictures would be great.

I think those Sun Mistrals put them in the 80's, but I can't narrow it down any further than that. I think I have a matching front wheel to your set. You can date the hubs from a number on the locknuts on your hubs.
the clip covers an oil hole (that almost no one has ever used)

Cassette = C Record
Freewheel = C Record or old Record (NR/SR)

Remember when a cassette was something you put into the tape player in your car?

Remember when a cassette was something you put into the tape player in your car?The next generation will, fortunately for them, never learn about what a pencil has to do with a cassette.

Yes. I used a BIC pen. Somewhat C&V French team.

I remember 8-tracks.
We had an 8-track in the Oldsmobile Starfire I used to drive to high school. Worst shifting on any manual care I've ever driven ... ah, the memories.

+1 since these rims where designed for older tubulars maybe even sew-ups depending on if the their early or late 80,s. They are worth a lot less since you may need a time machine to get correct tires.
I thought tubulars = sew-ups?
These would probably be Record/Nuovo Record hubs with 126mm spacing. Probably '80s as mentioned, and sew-ups are still available (Yellow Jersey, etc.). Can't recall if Campy actually ever made Nuovo Record hubs or if they were always just Record.

Really dirty from sitting forever-
just found a new set of Dura Ace downtube shifters in the box too.
Man, I really have to clean out all my bike stuff...

The hubs are Nuovo Record/Super Record or NR/SR for short. If you want to be a stickler they're simply 'Record' hubs which were part of the Nuovo and Super Record groupsets.
Sewups = tubulars and you can get them anywhere fro ~$25-30/tire.
