I bought a Tobukaeru a month ago and I find this nice inexpensive bike a real treat. I also have a 2012 Trek Wahoo 29er but lately I found I ride my folder more often than not. Only because it allows me to take indoors wherever I go rather than locking it outside and being constantly worrying if someone would be trying to take it home with them. Oh, this is a plus my panniers fit just right on my stock rear carrier which is perfect to pick up a few things from the grocers.
I'm retired and I've chosen to use bicycles as my main transportation but I've been riding all my life so I had in the pass all sorts of bikes. But to tell you the truth I think this little bike really is a joy to ride and I get compliments everywhere I go.
If anyone is even considering a folder don't spend too much money on them like a Brampton or Bike Friday they are way over price.
What I did when I got mine is I installed thorn resistant tubes and had slime put in them and I put about 65psi and it gives a very good roll and I'm a big guy 250lbs and I go over ruts and all sorts of stuff and have no worries this little baby takes it and more. I ride about 30 to 50 miles per week and I haven't had one flat yet although I do collect thorns on my tires but no flats. I have same set up on my Wahoo and no flats there either and on that bike I do put in a lot more miles when I use that one.

Congrats on your new ride! It would be good if you could post about your long term experience on this folder (durability, quality of components, etc). I've seen it come up here and there, but doesn't have any dedicated thread (at least not that I'm aware of).
