Introductions - Greetings from Arcadia, California!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well, needless to say I am new here.. I've been riding non-compettively for a good three or four years, the first somewhat decent ride I remember doing was when I was six, I did the LA Bike Tour, nothing crazy but I was six and I did it on a bike that is no higher then my knees now. I just recently bought myself my first new road bike, the Cervélo S2 with the Dura-Ace Di-2s, a set of Zipp 404 Firecrests, FSA K-Force Carbon bars & Stem, Bontranger inForm RXL 128 saddle, some Look Keo Carbon Blade pedals and a nice little Garmin Edge 800 top it all off. I've also got a Bianchi Super Pista with a Mavic Cosmic Carbon SL on the front and soon to have a Zipp 1080 Clincher on the back with a Phil Wood low-flange hub (currently running a Velocity Deep-V with an Origin 8 hub) I mostly just use the Super Pista for casual riding and all that 'cool' fixie stuff, but I do plan on taking her out to do some nice velodrome riding when I get a chance.. oh and I'm running a 48/17 and a 48/15 gear ratio. Oh and in case you are wondering, the only reason I can afford all of this is simply because I happen to be quite good with repairing cameras and such, so as a form of income I buy broken equipment and sell it for a profit. Anyways... I look forward to being a member of this forum and whatnot.
