A man gets pulled over by a cop at 3 in the morning. The cop asks “Where are you going at this time of night?”
“Well, officer, I’m on my way to a lecture series.”
“A lecture series?? On what subject?”
The man replies “The first one is on the evils of drinking. The second is on the dangers of driving at night. And the third is on alternative sleeping arraignments.”
“Oh yeah?” says the cop, “Who is giving these lectures?”
“My wife.”
“Well, officer, I’m on my way to a lecture series.”
