Introductions - Hello from St. Louis, MO

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Someone told me I was getting old when I turned 40. That made me get out my bike (any guess what kind it is?) and blow 15 years of dust off of it to start riding it to work 20 miles round trip. That was 2 years ago and now I'm hooked on riding. Next year I'm going to join a cycling club and ride in some charity events. My goal next year is 100 miles before the MS 150 in September. I plan to ride the 100 mile course both days. Everyone thinks I'm crazy (especially when I'm riding to work on 100 + degree days) but no one calls me old anymore... :thumb:

Howdy, we're almost the same age(I'm 41).
You're riding to work 20 miles round trip along
with riding with clubs on the weekends, you
shouldn't have any problems accomplishing your
goals.
