As long term patients, they've become old pals.
The doctor making his morning rounds checks in on Charlie, who is sitting on the edge of his bed, making car noises and turning an imaginary steering wheel back and forth.
The Doc says "What's up, Charlie?"
Charlie says "Going to Chicago!"
Doc says "that's a long drive, Charlie."
Charlie says "Yep, long drive, going to Chicago!"
The Doc checks back at noon, and Charlie's still driving along. Doc says "How's it going, Charlie"
