Thx...actually my birthday was in March.....just got around to coming in here. I spend most of my time in the Road Bike forum.

Good to be here though. I suppose it means I have lived long enough to get here:D.....which isn't a bad thing.

Thank you Robert. The Road forum can be difficult at times and I liked to try to be the voice of sanity. or at least, reason. It often didn't matter.

You'll need to be really slow:D

Actually I do not race. I just enjoy road riding. I hope to meet some new folks up here (near Toronto) next season.

Thanks for the welcome

My son is a missionary in Canada. I'll tell him to look you up next time he is on mission. Usually in Quebec but he gets into Toronto from time to time.

I'll admit I did not get mine done until 53. But I will say this.

Doing it was not that bad. The prep work is the worst of it. Having the results come back, and knowing everything is fine is awesome!

Welcome to the 50+ Forum. I also enjoy your posts on the Road Cycling Forum. Like you, I try and post sensibly on that forum, but with the roadies, that usually doesn't work well. You won't get that from this group. Well, maybe once in a while :).

Well that settles it...I'm outta here!:D

Welcome to 50+. Keep warm up there in the frozen north.
I am originally from the New York City area so I am used to winter....went to college in Oswego NY on the opposite side of Lake Ontario from where I live now and the past 3 winters in NYC have been worse than here....not that i can count on that THIS year:thumb:

Yes indeed. It gets brutal over there. I often get tired of it. From what you read over there, you would think they were all Elite pro racers. I have met many racers and they are the nicest guys. Some of the guys over in Road are a bit ......childish.

Welcome. :thumb: You sure took your time getting here. ;)
I refused to admit it for a while:D Actually I am very cool with turning 50 and still riding.

Indeed. I seriously love riding this bike. I owned a LeMond before this one and thought that was the most comfortable aluminum ride ever.....until I got this.
