Hello people,
The main reason I signed up here was to post about the bike I just picked up, Claridge Off-Road Bike (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php/showthread.php/778861-Claridge-Off-Road-Bike) because there seems to be very little information on the brand.
I haven't ridden for a long time. I used to ride solo when I was younger. One of my favorite short runs was Coarsgold to Oakhurst (Highway 41 in Ca.) and back. The elevation change to the halfway point is pretty insane.
Now that I'm nearing 50 and having alot of back trouble I spend too much time on my butt, literally. So I picked up a used bicycle to ride around town a few days a week for the much needed exercise. Becaue of the way my spine is shaped, the riding position on a 26" road bike is most comfortable. Because of the fact that at any age I wouldn't be able to resist curbs, bumps, dirt, wheelies, etc :thumb: etc, I chose an off road bike with solid frame.
