Foo - This morning I created greatness

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Skillet cooked bacon, placed on the griddle and drowned in pancake batter.

I know the idea is not original to me Doohickie. But I created the piece of greatness in the picture I posted. That is MY bacon, MY griddle and MY pancake. I am proud of it. It was good. I shall make more, oh yes, I shall make more. muhahahahahahahaha

Dig in!
Chip, you really need to work on your technique. That is a poorly formed donut. I hope it looks better once it is fried and dusted with powdered sugar.

Is it reindeer flavored?
Only when I eat reindeer. This morning it probably tastes like Grape Nuts and bananas. That's the beauty of the thing...endless variety!
Poor pancake.
I can assure you the plebian baconless pancakes were seething with anger and jealousy. I gave the angry jealous pancakes to my boys and ate the bacony pancake all by myself.
Finely chop the bacon and you would get more bacon flavor.
Personally, I prefer it on the side.
Blueberries, that's the ticket.

I wouldn't call it endless, that's only about 6 or 7 inches if you stretched it out.

**psssssst***
wanna amp up the "great?" Chop the bacon and toss in dark chocolate chips once the batter begins to set up. Truly decadent is candying your bacon first with brown sugar and red pepper flakes in the oven. Mmmmmmm, greatness from the divine bacon tree....

Skip down to the entry on "Nord's". That place is less than a mile from my house.
