She's got a lot of different sounds, depending on what time period the album's from. Might help to know who they're for? The Righteous Babe website (http://www.righteousbabe.com) might be informative.

i liked the "living in clip" set... Live stuff, all from different times... And if you are having problems finding reviews, its because the last name is DIfranco, not DEfranco.. Good luck!

Ani's a big fave of mine, I really like Dilate and Not a Pretty Girl, both show Ani at her angry best.
Living in clip a 2 disc live set gives a pretty good overview of her stuff.
