I slept in until 6:30 (usually up at 5:30). Otherwise I would have gone to the rec center for an hour of swimming. My singing group practices at 8:30 here, so I just did not have enough time for the swim, etc.
The side streets are ice coated. Not for this almost 72 year-old body with one back fusion already. I've got to play it safe.
So, the trainer was all set up, the video was in the player, and I gave in to the siren call of Coach Troy.
I only had time for about 30 minutes, but I did OK.
Believe me, the Spinerval videos/DVDs make the time go much faster, you get a much greater variety of speeds, resistance, etc., than you would think of yourself, and I highly recommend them for anyone getting bored on the trainer. There are other DVDs - such as Carmichael.
Supposed to warm up tomorrow, and I will go for a swim later today.
Sigh, winter IS here.
