I have had a problem with ACHILLIES TENDONITIS on and off for years from playing softball and basketball but had no problem when cycling on my old mountain bike with the cheaper standard type pedals.
I just got a new road bike with time atec clippless pedals and my ACHILLIES flairs up when I ride for extended periods. I have the cleats as far back as they well go and have tried all kinds of seat variable but nothing seems to help.
I have thought about putting a pair of standard pedals my new bike but I like the feel of the clippless pedals.
Is there adapter that allows the cleat to be positioned more towards the heel or would a pedal with a bigger platform such as a look style pedal be easier on the achillies?
