Yep, that's a play on words. My commute the other day was a couple days after our snow storm (Okay a slight dusting, about 2 inches). I figured the paths would be cleared, and to some extent they were, except on this nice stretch where a fence blocks the sun from the path. Last year the path had been plowed, this year with only 2 inches getting out and plowing or even sanding wasn't done. I get on this stretch of bike path, the snow was a little soft, so I still was able to get traction, but on the uphill I hit ice, and the bike some how left the path and I was airborne over the bars, with the bike one top of me, and smacked head and knee into the snow pack.
I'm okay except for the hole on the inside of my tights, and the carpet burn from the fleece lining on my knee. That's the second crash in 4 years of commuting. Not bad.
