How the hell does the Fox TALAS system work? Not even my local shop knows. My two best guesses are magic or God's devine will.
Well, knowing Fox its a bunch of shims, valves and springs :D They do love their shims over there.

wonder if they're making cookies in the fork too... perhaps that's where softbatch cookies come from... not the elves in the tree, the elves in the FOX TALAS fork!

hmm...probably distan elve relatives or something to the elves in the tree making cookies....but i figure any fluid leaking out of the fork is probably elf poo and elf urine...hehe....man i wish some company would just say that one day "new fox talas fork, its so good, all we can tell you is that magic elves make it so soft" that would be so funny

It is not elf excrement pouring out but by-products of the magic
The hand of God reaches down from the heavens and suspends you.
I'd guess that the linear air spring part comes from making the air chamber bigger, to offset the progressive nature. It's not totally linear, as shown from the graph on their website, but instead looks to be offset by some distance. Travel adjustment is probably pretty standard.
These are just guesses...but I figure that the elves can't do all that by themselves, they need some equipment in there.
