I do most of my riding in the south Santa Cruz county-north Monterey county area of California. Recently, I've seen quite a few riders wearing the same team kit. It's blue and white with some red. The main sponsor seems to be Giant and the other sponsor I noticed is Weyerhauser. Does anyone know which team this is? Don't tell me to ask one of these guys myself: these guys just whiz by me and there's no chance of my catching up. If they weren't moving so fast, I could probably read more off the uniform. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I see that A LOT in my area. A bunch of guys wearing some mysterious red kit, they've got everything: hats, socks, etc. The other team in town is mine (CSU), we have an equal amount of kit and are usually in a group. These guys ride solo a lot, and ride one of our 30mi loops in reverse, either that or when they ride it forward they can't catch us.... I may never find out, i know they don't race against us, cause we only race other colleges - maybe I'll finally meet some of them at the infamous Oval Crit during the USCF races.

Wow, color my face strawberry red and blow a raspberry at me. There is no ride that I take that does not take me by at least one strawberry and raspberry field. As it turns out, I know the founder and coach of the team, Dino. I recall now that a buddy of mine said that Dino had berry sponsorship. Dino is a real cool guy. He was the first local I encountered when I got back on the bike after my injury. He told me I was looking good and had great things to say about my new bike. I needed that encouragement. I bet it is great team to ride with.
