Hi y'all!

I started biking as a kid, graduated to a mountain bike, and got addicted. Alaska and Colorado kept me on my mountain bikes, but when I moved to Oklahoma I discovered road bikes.

About 4 years ago I hung up my bikes. I had just gotten married, and started having kids, so free time to go biking was not on the schedule. I recently started riding my bike to work just to get back in the saddle. My daily commute is 17.5 miles one way, mostly rural with rolling hills, with a few miles of urban arterial roads near work.

Kingshead, I'm travelings, and don't have any Picts with me. I'll post some when I get back.

Houndog, it takes me about an hour and fifteen min. to make my commute, give or take 10 min. depending on the weather or my wimpyness.

I would like to give it a try to ride to work. Its is an 18.1 mile one way ride on a road with a good shoulder but it is a very Busy road at the times I go to work. Also I work 12hrs a day and that means I would be riding sometimes in the dark. Now that is not my whole drive to work, I can't ride from my house no shoulders and a very busy hwy. Its on my mind. I might be able to ride their and ride back with someone else in the morning.
