During various warehouse inventories: No idea, but more than 1000, but I'd count 2 or 5 at a time.

In 3rd grade one of our assignments was to write all the numbers from 1-1000. It took a while, but I did fine till I got up to 999. Then I had to go ask my teacher what number came next.

Thank you for the prompt replies folks. I was on the edge for awhile there. Honestly, I was pushing the limits of the theoretical threshold my mind can handle. I smelled smoke for a minute.
