The general condition looks pretty nice. $200 is high but not out of the ballpark. Personally I don't think I'd pay more than $150.

Edit: my eyes played a trick on me.

Oh wow, my bad. I was looking at the second picture, thinking the bike was oriented upright rather than rotated 90 degrees. So ignore that comment...

I think that would sell pretty quickly for $200 on Portland craigslist. If you're looking for a rider, you ride it and like it, it's definitely worth it.

If the tubing sticker says Tange Champion I would buy it instantly.

Fastjake: It's all good, i'm pretty sure i want it but he is very firm at $200, maybe $180 if i go fetch it. Lester says its a good buy, i will definitely go check it out and try to negotiate.

My buddy rides a pretty nice looking Univega, not sure what model but it's older pretty nice condition, like a copper paint with yellow decal. It's a really great ride.

If you lived in FastJake's part of the country you could take it up a notch for the same price. I'd imagine this one would be too small for you, though.

I was eyeballing that bike as well because it looks nice and also my size. Is it your size? Looks like a 58 to 60cm frame. IMO it's on the fence, if you can't get it for less than $200 I would spend $250-$275 and get something higher up the chain. There's plenty out there in SoCal.

Thanks tmh657 I got him down to 175, but i think i might wait a bit. everytime i wait i get something good but everytime i jump on stuff that is a little out of my price range i get screwed!

Nice! The early Cyclone stuff is cool. Mind telling how much you paid? And how tall you are? :P

Can't go wrong with a Tange Champion frame IMO. Bummer about no Cyclone hubs cuz they're beautiful and smooth. I've never heard of those hubs, so dunno how they are. I halfway suspect they're replacement wheels, but I'm not sure.

The MKS pedals you question marked are quite well regarded.

I traded a fixed gear Bottecchia that was too small for me that i built up (56 cm) I'm 6'1 i feel comfortable on a 60 cm to a 65 cm. My austro daimler is the same size as this one (63.5) and it should workout great for me!
