I love getting there early, the parking lot was almost empty when I started. I started on the trail and the conditions where dry, while short lived it amazed me. The area by the castle was frozen/ice/snow. ON the climb up to Pence park it varied. There were spots of dry, some ice patches, etc. The only mud I really hit was two small patches by the Panorama Point trail. I had a blast, man today felt great. The ride down the road was a bit scary in the wind, Finished up the ride as the wind was picking up! Perfect timing! Somewhere near the top of the initial climb I ran into 1 other biker, really cool guy. He was the only cyclist I saw until the very end, never seen LOB that quiet. Awesome Awesome!
