Does anyone here know what that music was they played during the 04 TDF? I thought it was pretty cool and would like to buy it if possible. I assume it is some kind of symphony. Who is it by and how can I get it? Yeah, I know I can get the TDF DVD but I am looking at getting the whole soundtrack. Thanks!

The only thing that popped up was Kraftwerk's 2003 Soundtrack Tour de France

Back in 2003, I picked up the official CD of le Tour, it had a yellow cover with the same promotional image they used in posters, etc of the 100 year anniversary. The CD was a double CD with the first CD containing music in French basically associated with the history of le Tour and the 2nd CD was basically a CD (in french again) of radio interviews of past champions and stuff. I can't seem to find it at Amazon, I basically picked it up at Charles de Gaul while I was waiting for my plane to depart. Had to use my remaining Euros somehow...
