I know this is a reallllly basic question, but..... Can anybody tell me what size of forks I need for Mavic CXP23 rims. Being new to the Road side of biking, I assumed (much like MTB) the Mavic CXP23 rims I ordered and the Nashbar 650c/ Unthreaded Forks I ordered would be copasetic. One word, nope. And wouldn't you know that I cut the steer tube before trying on the wheelset...dope!! Any help would be most appreciated. God only knows when the Nashbar guys will get back to me!!

Road wheels are 700c -- 650c is used for triathlon bikes. Consequently, you need a fork that will accomodate a 700c wheel. Make sure you get the steerer size right, too.
