Seems like a very good deal to me - modern Campy and Colnago steel for under $600? Yeah, I'd say you made out like a bandit :)
You know, I thought by the mid/late 90's all the steel Colnago models had the straight-blade fork; the one on here is curved. Do you know if it's original to the bike?

^ Yes, that's a Colnago fork, unquestionably. I am just wondering out loud if it was meant for an earlier frameset. I first saw the straight bladed forks in a Bicycle Guide road test of a 1995 Colnago Master. This Decor paint came along in 1996 IIRC. I'm thinking it would include a straight bladed fork.
I could be wrong, of course - I am not as knowledgeable about modern stuff :)

Happy B’day Dude! I just turned 52 on the 7th and treated myself to an old Schwinn Suburban that I found at the dump that wasn’t my size. Your 57cm Colnago is a perfect fit for me; I think I see a trade happening here.:thumb:
Awesome find! I won't tell you what I laid down for my '78 Super a few weeks ago, but it was an awful lot more than $600! Nice bike, great price.

Nice find! That Mirage stuff is not bad, I had it on my F. Moser that I bought a few years ago. Was going to replace broken or worn-out parts by a higher-end stuff, but it's still all original. Just needs a regular tune-up, but that's part of the fun for me.

I've seen the Precisa on these as well.
I thought it might be a Euro model.
I ride with a fellow that bought a yellow nos Technos from a shop in Berlin.
Similar fork to this one.
He asserts both frame and fork were nos when he bought them.
Could be a shop mixed and matched frame and fork.
...and come to think of it, I had a Master Piu with a similar curved fork.
Rode fine if I recall.

Happy B-day. Real nice Colnago.
When I bought my Tommasini they had a Colnago right next to it for the same price. Had a cool Champagne paint job and was really nice. It was a hard decision but I chose the Tommasini, only because the paint on it was over-the-top.
I still covet that Colnago. :notamused:

Nice score and happy birthday! Hopefully my wife see's this thread when the time comes and gets the hint. lol. I like the curved fork over a straight blade model anyday if it's original or not. My Colnago Mix came with a straight blade carbon for but the previous owner installed a curved Orbea carbon fork. Yeah it's not the same brand but I actually like the look of it more.

I bought myself a pretty nice Battaglin last Christmas, and
I hope you get as much enjoyment from your own self
selected present as I have from mine. Nobody knows what
you want as well as you do.:D
I, too, think that's a pretty good use of 600 bucks.

Geez, nice price, happy b'day to you.
(if I ever put mine up for sale again I sure hope any potential buyers do not look at the final price of that one, definitely below market per my thinking)
