Greetings all,
My name is Thom and I am from western Washington state. I'm an old coot with many health issues but throughout all the years I have always loved to ride. I need to do this for a variety of reasons now but trying to get into some kind of shape is primary.
I bought one of the first edition Schwinn Le Tours from Japan in late '73. It's got an LT-5 frame (love it cause I'm 6'3") in opaque blue and I have always loved riding this bike. It's funny because it's the only thing in my life I've been able to hang onto.
I joined to get riding info for the future and maintenance tips and tricks since I have to do some work on the bike.
I also am looking for info on the serial #: 4B 0188A. I know it's Feb. '74 but I don't know about the rest. Any help?
