Just traded a decent SR stem for these. They look ok but has anybody rode these before? Could anyone tell me a little bit about them. I don't usually ride with cages but with these i'm going to give it a shot. I have the clips but i need some straps. Cheapest spot for straps? Thanks!

I don't really now anything about them, but they're pretty cool. A sort of platform front with a cage plate at the back. Seems like they'd be great - I ride Mks Gr-9s, so just the flat platform surface. Are yours more like these ones on Velobase, or is the platform more squarish (as on the Esquartz 107, which you can see on this ebay listing)?:
I ride those pedals on my fixed gear path racer and I love them. Bought them on eBay five years ago for $20. Recently tried bidding on another pair and they closed above $100, so I think you got a deal! Careful not to break the clips; they are proprietary to this pedal and not easy to find separately.
I rode them BITD. Broke a toeclip and had to fabricate a replacement out of a coat hanger.

You can't do any better than Zefal/Christophe straps for these.
They're usually ~$10.

I have a set of the Esquartz-107. They are similar but squared off instead of rounded. I always like them due to the low profile.

These are great pedals I have used them before on bikes and would defienetly get another set if I could get a reasonable price or trade for a pair. Right now the used prices I have seen on them are steep in the $70-$100 range as pointed out above. So you got a great deal if you could get a set in trade for a average quil stem.

I have never rode pedals before, maybe I'll give it a try sometime....
