I grabbed this at a Church Yard Sale today. I am guessing it's late 60's early 70's Any ideas what this is?

The frame was built in May 1967... the rest may always be a mystery

It's a Breeze coaster. Check the hub for a stripe and we can tell whether it's a two-speed kickback or not.
Here's the link to the 1967 catalog page: http://www.trfindley.com/flschwinn_1961_1970/1967_15.html

EC=May, 1967.
It's a ladies electroforged model, and if the original color was red it's probably a Breeze (http://www.trfindley.com/flschwinn_1961_1970/1967_15.html).

OK Guys, thanks for the links and Info. It's a single speed. It has 24" wheels on it now. I see in the catalog it never came with 24's.
Ok well that's that. I may restore it.

The "junior" sizes came with 24" wheels: http://www.trfindley.com/flschwinn_1961_1970/1967_27.html but judging from the clearance (Clarance) I'd say it's a mongrel.
Restoring it may be a chore, particularly since finding 26 x 1 3/8 S-6 rims will be tough. It's missing the Schwinn fenders, wheels, seat, handlebars... you'll need a good parts bike to make it whole.
I think it'd be a nice "town" bike with some aluminum rims and a coaster brake. Sun makes a basic aluminum rim in close to the correct size: http://sheldonbrown.com/harris/rims/590.html .

I was going to say at first sight it is a mutant. It should have 26" x 1 3/8" wheels, Schwinn sizing. From the fork it appears as if it originally had a front brake. Rat Rod material.

SB,
Good to see you and nice to see the beautiful AL November weather. Missing it here in NH.
I happen to have in my shed a '60s 3 speed Breeze that a neighbor "gifted" upon me. It is Campus green and is all there, wheels, fenders, saddle, etc. It is a bit rusty and long in the tooth, but if you would like it you can have it for the cost of shipping. Let me know.

Nice to be back. Been pounding it out over in the 41 since I have not had any good or worthwhile CV projects to play with. But how ever this offer turns out, I will be restoring a breeze one way or the other. Stay tuned ;)
