Anyone have any idea what this frame is worth? Ishiwata 019 tubing, clearly awesome paint job, shimano dropouts, internal cable routing, I think it's a '92. And what might it be worth built up with 8 speed Dura Ace? Thanks!

What's going on with the drive side chain stay? Is that paint failure, or some kind of decal work.

Built up? Figure what the DA bits are worth as parts, and cut them in half once installed on the bike. So basically the value of the frameset plue 50% of the value of the components. So if you are building it up as an investment, don't. Sell the parts instead.

+1, selling it parted out will maximize the value. It appears those spots on the chainstay may be chain slap touch-up in a contrasting paint? I hope so, because it looks like their are several, irregular vertical lines on the stay too. I hope they're paint runs and not paint cracks. There's also a couple of large slivers inside the derailleur mounting hole on the dropout, which makes it look like the threads are stripped or letting go. I'll defer passing judgement on the value, pending answers to these questions.

It was wrapped and what you see is the leftover residue/dirt. The paint is fine, just needs to be cleaned up. The threads in the derailleur hanger are also fine. That said, what do you think the frame is worth?

The curly thing in the derailleur hanger was a piece of paint that had been in the threads.

Clean it and show it.

Better pic of the stay when you are finished.

Then, value!

Also, nice frameset.

it's just adhesive from the chainstay protector. Can you give me a value assuming I just cleaned it?

T-Mar, do you have any idea what the frame is worth with the chainstay cleaned up?

Being pushy isn't going to help around here. Value of a vintage frame is HUGELY dependent on condition, hence all the questions and requests for pictures.

Seems like he posted up a number of large photos and answered the questions people raised, yet still hasn't gotten a straight answer 3 weeks later. Unless someone is trying to confirm the veracity of his answers, he's presented enough info for an estimation, no?
