I just did my 3rd century ride this year. Actually, one of them was a double century (205 miles) in one day. That ride was the Seattle to Portland ride in the northwest corner of the US. The most recent one was the Seagull Century in Maryland. My Pacific Reach Racing has performed flawlessly on all my rides. I have racked up 3,019 miles so far this year and I LIKE THIS BIKE!

It seems you are ready to do some "sustained" touring if you can manage the time away from ...

I had my arvon2 built specifically for hauling on aircraft, flying to a far-away place (like Australia) and touring for 4+ weeks. The "folder" makes hauling the bike around easier than hauling my full sized touring bike.

Congrats on the double "real" century (aka miles) :thumb:

Congratulations on your double century on Seattle to Portland! That's a wonderful ride, and I've done it five times but never as a double. My wife always wants to make a two day ride out of it . . . so we do.

That said, Super Congratulations for doing it on your folder! I've ridden 52 doubles since I move to California but I can't imagine riding a double on my folder . . . Or even a century for that matter. I have ridden 3 centuries on a fixed gear, so maybe it wouldn't be that much more difficult?

One of these days I may try a century on the folder though.

Getting ready to attempt my very first century...

It will be on a Tern Link P9, two days from now. I have a decent base, strong legs, and the will to do it, so I'm curious as to how it will be.

My highest mileage day to date was ~55 miles. I ride at work, which is usually very slow paced riding. That day, I spent just under 6 hrs in the saddle. I typically get about 16 hrs/week saddle time.

I expect it to be very challenging, but not out of reach...
