Bikes of my size (i.e. "average") don't show up very often. I'm looking for something different from what I have now. The fact that this has less than top end Campy stuff means I wouldn't feel too bad about replacing some things to suit my gearing preferences.
The seller sent me a few pics of the Campy stuff.
Drop me some email if you have any advice to offer.

Can't see the Camapgnolo components, but based on the chainring it looks like Nuovo Victory or Nuovo Triomphe? The frame is Aelle only in the main tubes. That would be pricey in my region for this time of year but I imagine Boston is a quite hot market with all those universities and 56-58cm bicycles probably get snatched up quickly.

Thanks for the reply. I know almost nothing about Campy models. The seller sent me some pics I can forward or post but I have to resize them first. What BCD would Victory or Triumphe be, I wonder? As for the price, I can't imagine students would go for a bike that expensive.
I see what you mean about Aelle on the main tubes only. For that kind of price I'd like to get full-Columbus, I think. But as I said, I see virtually nothing available in the 58-59cm range.
Ah, well, I have time over the holidays to think and do research.

Jim,
I went to look at that bike a couple months ago, don't waste your time......
Triomphe and Victory were an oddball BCD - 116mm.

Isn't that the bike that was upside in the CL posting a few months ago? it looks like a nice bike but I think it is overpriced by about $200
