1st step is to define budget. my ideal fixed gear would be a custom Ti bike from one of the reputable renowned builders, but that's a different story if a budget is in place - how much $ are you looking to spend?

It's ALL about the budget. Angry Scientist - I am riding a Desalvo Ti single speed and it is phenomenal! It's simply the best bike I have ever owned.

Vassago Chupa Cabra SS with Avid X.o 185/160 brake setup - if it had to be "the best" - handbuilt paul/phil wood/mavic wheelset on Conti tubeless

They come in many colors and sizes are in 1cm increments, 46-63cm.

I still love my 722ts but i did recently got a Ti MTB which has stolen my riding love for now... **** is fun! My 722ts also saw some CX action this season. worked quite well.
