im not sure ive ever seen a picture of a failed late rev-x. ive got both an early and a late set left over from my parents racing days and there is a notable difference. the early set is wall art.(mostly due to high miles) i wouldnt hesitate to ride the late set.

keep in mind broken due to circumstances that would taco a road wheel does not = failure. you also have to remember these came from a day when composite wheels were legal for mass start use. spinergy rev-x wheels were a common sight in professional time trials, road races, triathlons, cyclocross races, and cross country races. despite this high population and rough use there really are not that many pictures of broken wheels out there. (as a percentage of the population)

Make sure the windsor has a 1n1/8th steerer diameter though so the fork fits right.

i had a friend keep bragging about how he bought a dura-ace lockring from the LBS for cheap (LBS owner is known to be abrasive and will **** with you if you seem to be pretty uneducated with bikes..maybe hes on this forum) anyways, i looked at the lockring and of course it was not dura-ace but a complete generic. of course i didn't say a word.

Trade you wheel for cash. Cash is more useful than those other things listed.

The other things that people are offering you are crap anyway, except maybe the IRO wheelset...but that may be crap, too.

Remember, you don't HAVE to trade the B43 wheel. Ask for cash and wait for someone to come up with enough cash to buy it.
