No, but I'd like to. Where can one get their hands on it?

Best cycling movie, Breaking Away! Dennis Quaid at age 18, Nasty Italian professional team...
Runner-up, American Flyers. A young Kevin Costner (still acting poorly)

Another "inside" look at pro cycling, telling us everything a "pro" does to get ready for a race (except for the blood transfusions, IV drips, "vitamin" injections, EPO, HGH, THG, and the other tools of the trade).
Victor Conti of BALCO says that using that stuff is NOT cheating, because EVERY athlete who is consistently winning in "push the human body's limits" sports, such as track, swimming, and cycling, uses this stuff. But, even if Conti is correct, ain't no movie gonna show us a fella shoving the needle into his rear.

Pro doesn't have to show the doping to make it interesting

Go watch The Smashing Machine. That should satisfy your desire for morbidity.

A Sunday in Hell is the greatest piece of cycling filmmaking ever.
It's a must own.

it's good - no doubt. but something about the commentaries voice puts me to sleep rather quickly. i have to break that movie into 2 or more parts whenever i watch it.

I'd have to second Breaking Away, the only other movie that I know of that is centered around a bike is Pee Wee's Big Adventure (I think that is the one about his bike)

ha ha (its hard to type that annoying laugh)

.........is without doubt the worst movie I have ever seen, of any genre, let alone cycling!. I dunno why you'd bother making a movie set around cycling, when neither the director or writer, obviously, had any clue about the sport....I thought it was a comedy it was that bad!. Anyone wanna buy my copy?, watched once, never again!

Oh yeah, well the people who made "Crocodile Dundee" didn't know anything about alligators! Take that!

'Crocodile Dundee' is a national geographic documentary, compared to American flyers!....have you seen it?, (American flyers).....I loved it when the 'bad guy racer' & his team is behind the breakaway & they the leader goes, "c'mon, lets get 'em"!....so he takes off & his team mates all ride beside him.....LMFAO.....I nearly fell off the couch I was laughing so hard...the russian team looked more like super heavyweight boxers than cyclists!

This is true Hitchy...I have no defense, but I do like myself a movie sometimes that is so bad it is actually irresistible to watch. For the record, I own both AF and BA...on DVD no less!
I know one person sadi pro was a good movie, but what does everyone else think of it that has seen it? I am thinking about buying it.
Just got it; just saw it... 8 outa 10
not bad....It start a bit slow but overall its good. It kind makes me happy I do this for fun and not as a job.....
