Triathlon - Triathlon bike price inquiry

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello folks,
I am new to this site and I need some advice from you. A friend of mine who just started triathlon training convinced me to join him...so here I am..researching how to become an Ironman :)
I am looking to buy a tri bike and I found a site that sells the bikes at very low prices in my opinion. The website address is http://www.sale-bikes.com
My questions to you guys:
Has anyone ever bought bikes from this site?
Do you think I can trust this site?It looks that they ship from Indonesia
I am looking at a Cervelo P2C and im looking forward to hear back from you.
Cheers

Nope and no.
If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!
Do a google search. Many scams originating from Indonesia and this one raises all the alarm bells...

Thanks everyone for the good advices. I did look more into this and tracked the email IP and here is what I found: its a scam originated from US, Mountainview
Can you recommend some trusted bike sites?
Do you know exactly which size Cervelo P2C you fit? The risk of buying online rather than getting fitted and buying locally could be an expensive purchase if the bike isn't the right size.
Due to everyone having different physiology, it isn't a simple matter of saying my inseam is XXcm so I should ride a YY sized frame. For example there was a suggestion of the TT bike being one size down from your road bike, mine is actually two! (I ride a 56cm road bike and 52cm Cervelo P3).
I have heard good things about the RA cycles and Competitive Cyclist in the US, though just having checked the later it appears they don't stock Cervelo anymore...

Honestly, Unless you are pretty knowledgeable about what you need/want, you really should check with your LBS.

Mr Rudy, would love to help, but I have a few questions. You mention getting talked into doing a triathlon and then mention ironman. Can you give a brief overview of your past, present and future? (i.e. I ama runner and have run a few marathons and I want to do an olympic tri next august). Also where are you located? Are you dead set on Cervelo? There are a lot of options out there.
