i am currently trying to insert some images into my blog. i have the images hosted by photobucket but i would like to know how i can make the images appear alongside my text and not just have the link show up. (i have seen people type something like " [/img] " but don't know if this does what i want.)


any help much appreciated

The img tag is for Forums (like here)
<img src="http://picture.jpg" alt="hover text" /> is for web sites
http://picture.jpg what you'd send to friends (only the image will show up in IE)


Above is what imageshack says to use. Make sure to provide the entire path, not just the filename.jpg

Wrong. it should look like thishttp://img66.exs.cx/img66/2559/IMGcode.jpgwhich will produce this:

You'll note in salmonchild's initial post he asked about inserting images into his blog, not in a post on the Bike Forums. bsyptak is correct (especially since salmonchild posted that it worked).
