Check out the wicked off camber, screaming fans, live band, and party tent. Well done, organizers!
Let me know what you think!

Hey great stuff, I saw this video elsewhere and it inspired me to try out a CX race, hopefully in the near future. I had no idea there was such a big 'cross scene in the area.

You missed a good one at Eagle Island today, unless of course, you where there. If your still looking to try the funnest racing in the valley, there will be another race at E.I. on Sat. 12/17, and the last of the season at Eagle Velo Park on the 18th. If you need more info. feel free to P.M. me.
As always, thanx for the great video Chris.

Yep I missed it. Do they have a "Newbie-on-a-MTB" category? If not, it will have to wait until I acquire another bike. Looking hard though. Hopefully, I will be able to give it a try on the 17th.

Yep, they have a 1st timer catagory. If you use a MTB, all you"ll have to do is take the bar-ends off if you have them. I would suggest that you race in the cat. 4 flight as you may be the only 1st timer this time of year. Don't be worried about starting with the 4s, the point will be to have fun and see if you like it(most do) and get the feel of cross. If you need help when you get there, just ask, cross folks are pretty laid back and more than willing to give a hand. If you make it, look me up, I"m the tall guy in the ICO kit racing Masters 45+. The cat.4 flight starts at 12pm on Sat. and 11 am on Sun. Be sure and get there at least an hour early( 1 1/2 is better) to get squared away and warmed up.
