Can this threatening separation of FD braze-on on a CF tube be fixed?
It is still holding, but I expect it to break sooner or later. Should I wait for it to break or maybe try to squeeze some JBweld into the crack (and pray like hell?)

If it were my bike, I would:

Drill out the rivets
Find an appropriate epoxy
Prep mating surfaces
Apply epoxy
Re-rivet

If it wasn't my bike, I would consult the manufacturer and see if it's covered under warranty.

Thanks, that looks like sound advice.
I also think that two in line rivets only is not adequate for the leverage the cable pull has. The better braze-ons I see have four rivets in a square pattern, but I am afraid the bracket is too small for that.

PS.: Come to think of it, it should be possible to buy a boss that can accommodate more than two rivets, shouldn't it? Do you know a source where I could get one?
