Does anyone have any knowledge of where I can find a used 24" wheel track bike. "For my 8 year old". Complete bike would be best but would consider a frame to build up. And what about wheels? These little suckers a tough to find. I've priced a Havnoonian but is a little steep for my budget currently. I keep an eye on eBay, but have not had any luck. Even tried eBay in several European countries. I'm considering a frame building school to build my own. Help me please.

Dunno about used, but Paul Sadoff at Rock Lobster recently built this one for a 10 year old girl:

You could convert a Felt or Pinarello Junior's bike for cheaper than framebuilding school, I think. $800 Felt 24", $900 felt 26", $850 Pinarello 24"

Nice!!! Frame for 24" wheels makes dropouts look GIGANTIC! Or maybe dropouts are gigantic?

Actually everything is pretty much the same just smaller. The rear is 120mm and the fork is 100mm. Standard 1" threaded headset. Bearings pressed and fork installed yesterday230983230984
