Looks like this vid took a lot of work. Starts out kind of slow but really gets kicking at around 2:05.

Impressive! I've skied on golf courses and across their paved cart paths. Pavement can have one of two effects. Its can either grab the ski causing one to face plant; or the snow/ice on it lets loose and you do the splits or some crazy acrobatic move that tells you that you didn't stretch enough :twitchy:

Crazy Cool! That had a real urban skateboarder vibe to it.
Were those sparks coming off the skis when he hit pavement?

Skis have metal edges on the base.
Note to self: Don't buy skis off Vancouver Craigslist.

It would be a great commute to work if you worked downhill from home.
Did you notice the destination on the bus?

I think that guy can afford new skis....he's one of the founders of Armada Skis. That clip is from a feature length film called All I Can. The trailer looks amazing, although none of that particular clip is in there: http://vimeo.com/16442800
I want it to snow SO much.
