yeah, godspeed at 3am on a fixedgear... i'd equate that to dropping a hit of mescaline while peaking on DMT.

to all the Old hXc in here:
nostalgic...it was like ready an old flyer.
Cro mags, Big Black, Blitz, AOF, SSD, DYS, Slapshot, Effigies, SLF, Clash, Pogues, Bad Brains, Buzzcocks, Husker Du, dammit...I don't have time to list them all. But Underdog (The Vanishing Point stayed on my turntable for over 4 months)...hell, one of the best things to ever rock Dreamerz (along with Fugazi). Richie one a rare, cool person. And Treece...
too much music to list for me as hXc is just one portion. I'll leave it here for now
Uh, I knew this dude that knew the dudes in Tristeza...
For this, this week (my first riding fixed; I'm hurting):
Deerhoof, Fat Day, Food for Animals, Mtn. Goats, Randy Newman.
I did see more fixie paraphernalia at Monday's BlackCat Isis show (dude w/ OldSkoolTrack T-shirt, friend of friend w/ Chainring tatooed under neck) than fixies outside (1).
Is it just me or are there a lot of Bad Brains fans in this forum?

takaru are super nice guys. i love when bands have a book distro! they just put out a new full length that is stellar!! they also have a split 12" with light in the attic, which is austin barber of yaphet kotto's other band. great great split.

Crust & Crumb: You're from Bay City? I'm in Waterford. Our ****** bands play your area all the time. I feel sorry for you.
As far as Takaru goes, they've got a split LP with A Light in the Attic and an LP on Alone records called There Can Only Be None. Brutal, brutal stuff.
Anyway, mostly '80s & early-90s Hardcore/Punk/Crust/etc stuff. But that only covers about half of what I listen to, if that.

']..... And Treece...
Funny, 2 years ago i saw McRad play here in SF. It was pretty cool to hear all the songs for Absence of Sanity. There was like 30 people there, which was kinda sad, but the rocked it. Treece went off.

It's cool to see old Anarcho/Peace-Punk bands reforming. First Lost Cherress, now Zounds. Now, all we need is an Apostles reunion...
