Classic & Vintage - Not C&V...but, I admit it: " I am a Cyclist"

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anybody seen the one when the husband is talking to his wife about his great ride, she asks about the kids and he says he dropped them? (The kids are toddlers).

If you have a link, I would appreciate it.

These are usually funny, but the computer generated voices make it hard to watch more than a full minute. What I did see was hilarious, though! I've never thrown up myself, but I have a friend that does quite a bit when he does track racing.

I watched about half of it and came to the conclusion that I don't want to be "a cyclist". I also know a lot of people that have her attitude, most of them are on the high side of 250 and rising. I just like to ride at a pace that I can go all day on a bike that didn't cost more than my car.

 I guess I'm not "A Cyclist".

Pompiere's right, there's still a prevailing attitude against cyclists from the average population.
My wife was pumping gas this Sat. morning and she witnessed about a dozen roadies assembling and waiting for others to show at this corner gas/convenient store.
Up pulls in a big pick up truck, and out steps a beer-bellied 'Bubba', cursing and mumbling at the sight of the roadies while pumping gas. My wife hears him shout to his young son exiting the quickie mart, "Hey hurry! Check out the bunch of f---kin' queers!"

I generally find those videos to be pretty stupid, but some of them are pretty clever. This is pretty funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rikLwIxRwEs

and I'm fairly certain my riding buddies and I have had similar conversations to this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lENhbv4wHBs

My new catch phrase. "I am a cyclist."

Don't forget the "air quotes" though...
