Has anyone ever had a bike shipped to them from Australia? I am looking at one on eBay and curios what others might have paid for shipping.

I shipped a bike frame to Australia from the US. I had a ebay buyer in Sydney. I checked on shipping from Fedex and it was $700!
More looking around and I found a website that specializes in shipping bikes, bikeflights.com, it cost $400 to ship through them. You just purchase the shipping label from them and they send you a .pdf label and you drop the box off at Fedex. A week later he got his frame.

Where are you located?

Shipping between Australia and North America is quite expensive.

But shipping between Australia and Europe doesn't seem to be nearly as expensive. We can get cycling stuff shipped to us in Australia from the UK for free.

Shipping in the US, even state to state, is expensive as heck. international to the US will be expensive as heck. whatever you "save" on Ebay will most likely be made up in shipping.
