OK, I just DVR'd season 1 in preparation for season 2.

This is already one of my all-time 10 best shows.

Four thumbs up. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o305/spike110820/thumbsupicon2ii.gif http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o305/spike110820/thumbsupicon2ii.gif http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o305/spike110820/thumbsupicon2ii.gif http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o305/spike110820/thumbsupicon2ii.gif

Not to be missed.

The second season starts tomorrow.

Now that I got to watch season 1 over two nights, I'm spoiled.

I guess I'll have to adapt to waiting a week between episodes.

Did you know...

That Carrie Brownstein was the lead guitarist for Sleater-Kinney? And:

In 2006, Brownstein earned a spot on Rolling Stone's list of the "25 Most Underrated Guitarists of All-Time" as their highest-rated female guitarist of all-time.

When she did the accupuncture scene, I was thinking, wow, she can really play that guitar. NFS.

I just saw the "Dream of the 90s" skit on another forum and proceeded to watch every video from the show I could find. I'm definitely a fan now.

Holy crap, I just spit all over my laptop. As a middle aged dad I have to confess to owning a surprising number of old navy fleeces.

I watched the first episode of the second season last night on IFC.com, and let me just say that if you like Battlestar Galactica, you will like this episode.

Male or female Starbuck BG? There's a difference.

Actually, the listing in the LA Times was in error. The 'BSG' episode of Portlandia is the second episode, airing next week. And it involves the remake: female Starbuck.
