Wow, I was just talking to my coworkers about the episode of MASH where they commission a bust of Col. Potter by a local 'craftsman'.

I loved his appearance in an episode prior to becoming Col. Potter.

He seemed like a nice man. I loved him in the Oxbow Incident - a small supporting part, but very well done...

I haven't thought about the psychotic colonel episode in ages! Now I'm an even sadder panda.

My wife and I watched "How the West was Won" last night and when he showed up in a scene, my wife stopped and informed me of the news. RIP.
