Many apologies if this has been posted before.

Just saw this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oNedC3j0e4&feature=player_embedded) on YouTube...

A while back, Chevrolet introduced an ad campaign in which users could 'build their own'
Tahoe ads from stock footage of the SUV grinding through the wilderness. Prizes would be offered to the 'winners'. As luck would have it, the tool got in the hands of people who are less than enamored with these rolling living rooms. Chevrolet had videos like this one running on their own Web sites!

Enjoy!

A former local rider (when I was in CHNC) Phillip Barron (BF member) did a good one as well.

Here was my entry. Money.com used a frame from it when they did their article on the contest.

Curious, I didn't request that the embedding be disabled. So who did?

Ha, those clips are great! Wish someone could infiltrate the networks with ads like these, kind of like the old Max Headroom stunt of a few years ago. Better yet, start forcing car manufacturers to include the greater costs of driving everywhere, as the cigarette companies are now required to do regarding the health effects of smoking.

Gerv, I can't take credit for the video I posted, I just came across it and had to share. Thanks for the kudos, though!

My car was totaled several weeks ago by one of those ridiculous things. Now that I'm car free, I actually feel safer on the bike...
