I think I am totally geeking out. Based on the many good suggestions and examples here, I am building up the brass powder coated RB-T with a Steampunk theme and I really like it.

Normally, I can't wait to get the reflectors off of a new project bike, but, here, I'm actually considering installing reflectors.

So, please inspire me. Show us photos of your tasteful or interesting or totally outrageous application of reflectors on bikes.

Probably not what you had in mind, but I also wanted reflectors on a Bianchi that I often ride at night on busy roads. I ended up choosing GP 4000 tires with a white reflective sidewall, and put a Blinky Super Flash on seat post:

These are just stock, but I like them. Some bikes just look right with them. On my Trek 600, I'm going to keep them.

Cateye fender reflector (the low one on the fender; the one above it is a dynamo taillight):

The other reflector is the DOT-approved reflective tape I have on the saddlebag.

A possible style of reflector that might look cool are the little bullet reflectors popular with the Harley/cruiser crowd. Not sure who makes them, but I bet Sykerocker would know.

I have blinky and reflector on my CX bike for my evening rides. I'll post a pic here later.

Don't stop with just the bike and/or accessories. I wear my dork orange/reflective "don't hit me" [ie. highway worker] vest for night rides.

I even use it sometimes on my scooter commute.
