Last night at the pack meeting as I announced that the Den 2 Sr. Webelos would now lead the closing ceremonies, I got a bit of a surprise. The Webelos got all the scouts to line up and form a tunnel from the oldest scouts to the youngest scouts. I had to walk through the tunnel as they sang happy birthday to me. By the time I got the the end that was made up of the youngest scouts, I was on my hands and knees. As I emerged from the tunnel, I got my birthday cake (a pie pan full of whipped cream). My youngest son was holding it at face level, and yep you guessed it, I crawled right into it! Great Fun and what a way to celebrate your birthday!
