i've had a bike since i was about 15 i'm 32 now

i found some pics of a similar bike at ebay

the differences are

1. mine is all chrome
2. the upper bar of the frame(nut buster bar) has a tubed platform that is shaped like a "U"
the curve of the "U" starts between the seat post and goose neck, the sides of the "U" go back
and weld into the brace above the rear wheel (this brace is shown in the pictures)
3. at the bottom of the tube of the forks are rounded platform for standing

this is a link to the page with pictures
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7117880245

serial for my bike is GQ717858, i have looked for serial pages but have found none that list serials for this new of a bike all i have found only show into the 1970's

anyone know what bike i have?

thanks

hmm, that would be about 1986. Thats a pretty standard freestyle frame. Had a mongoose much like it, myself.
Without seeing the bike, I'd say you have a Schwinn Predator freestyle. Schwinn has used to Predator name on a zillion bikes since the early 80's so good luck searching on the name alone.

Any particular component names on the parts? "Dia-Compe MX brake levers" for example? They may help as well...

wait a sec... I'm assuming here. You never said Schwinn, did you :)

Frame sounds like a GT Performer/Pro Performer perhaps.
