Foo - things found in the washing machine:

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I wash my son's oily, muddy work clothes - unlike regular laundry, I don't check pockets & such - because I'd get grease all over me! Anyway, in this round of wash - and I'm only half way through the pile - I have found 9 AA batteries, 4 ear plugs, 3 rolls of electric tape, a large brass bolt, and 2 $50 bills (should not have mentioned THAT find to him!).

>.> I wish I still had the pic my ex took, she opened the washing machine and there was a 8" alligator lizard sitting on top of the laundry she'd just washed looking up at her like wtf... and no you shouldn't have told him about the 50's.
Could I borrow your machine? I'd be nice to find money instead of losing socks for a change.

.... you'd have to take the oil-field clothes, too!....
Sounds like terrorist paraphernalia to me. How long have you known your son?

Bad, bad, Jdon, you do know that your comment probably just caused the alarms to go off at the Homeland Security computer monitoring site and now poor apclassic9 will be visited by the men in black, and they wont be Tommy Lee Jones or Will Smith. :)

perhaps the men in black would go through all the pockets for me & save my washer some wear & tear?

I am thinking they have huge industrial washers at Gitmo, so there could be an upside.

The local laundramat has machines marked for "Bush and Mechanic Clothes only", if they catch anybody using one of the other machines for those they charge ten dollars cleaning charge.

I believe that items in the washing machine fall under maritime salvage laws. If you find it unloading the washer, it's yours.
That will encourage him to empty his own d*mn pockets.
I was going to say "let him wash his own clothes" but after the $50 bill part... erhm..... do you need any help?
My friend found 2 .22 shells in his washer. One still fired, one didn't after being washed.
