Buddy and I will be pedaling the coast in January, Galveston to Corpus (http://g.co/maps/jvh6h). Any 'must see/do' stuff along that route, other than what will be obvious? How 'bout getting from the mainland to Galveston. Anybody ridden the Galveston Causeway?

We ride it about every month.
Stay in touch and some of us will go with you.

We take TX 3 to 45 South into Galveston.

Thanks 10 Wheels. As the Causeway seemed to be an extension of the Interstate, thot I'd better ask. I was told by a real cycle bum that he'd never been thrown off an Interstate in Texas. I had understood it was ok as long as there was no reasonable alternative. Will get back to you
about joining this short ride. Likely mid January.

We live in League City, about 20 miles North of Galveston.
