I have a cat-eye cordless II that i picked up for cheap and am trying to install this on my roadbike.

The computer mount isnt a prob, its the mount for the transmitter part that goes on the fork.

The bracket i got with this comp is round and will easily install/ clamp on my MTB fork simply cuz the fork on the MTB is round. (duh)

But what does one do when you have a roadbike fork that looks like a blade and is very narrow and not round? The bracket doesnt fit at all. Is there some kind of conversion kit/bracket i need for this type of fork?

Heres the link to the fork i have:
http://www.profile-design.com/products_forks_bsc.html

I guess untill i figure out what to do and how to mount it on a "bladed" fork, im pretty much stuck with a computer i cant use :(

Any ideas would be welcome!

EDIT: I forgot to add that i was thinking about using plastic ties but the transmitter doesnt have extra holes or anyway to attach it, just a screw that bolts thru the pre-made hole in the original round-shaped bracket that the computer came with.

I have a similar fork sensor for a wired cateye computer.

On my odd shaped fork I simlpy use a couple of plastic cable ties. Does the job really well.

I too used plastic ty-wraps (aka zip ties) on my road fork. Since it is carbon (charcoal gray) I got black ties (at Home Depot) so they don't stand out like the white one. If your fork is painted try to match the ty-wrap color with the fork color. They come in several other colors (red, yellow, blue, etc.). Looks much better. :)

I have a Cateye Cordless mounted on a fork much like the one you have. The bracket is flexible enough to fit around the fork. You might have to use the extension piece to get the sensor close enough to the magnet. My Cateye works great.
